This recognition celebrates the effectiveness and sustainability of our programmes and highlights how strong partnerships with corporate and community partners are bringing quality eye care to thousands of people who need it most.
These centres help rural families get the eye care they need — from basic screenings to pre-surgical checks and prescription glasses — without having to travel long distances. This means more people can protect their sight and live healthier, more independent lives.
In February 2022, Operation Eyesight was proud to be selected as one of 100 high-impact NGOs in India to receive funding from the GROW Fund. This two-year grant of INR 80 lakh (CA $250,000) is helping us expand our programs and train more community vision technicians, ensuring that sight-saving care reaches even the most remote communities.
