About CCSDO

Sometimes change does not begin with a plan — it begins with a feeling that something is not right.

CCSDO was born from the determination of a woman who grew up in a community where even stepping out to work was a struggle for many women. Watching girls drop out early, families facing daily hardships, and silence around basic needs created a constant thought — something has to be done.

In 2020, when the country was battling the COVID-19 pandemic, that thought turned into action. Without waiting for resources or recognition, she stepped out to help people around her. From arranging oxygen cylinders to speaking with women in nearby settlements and mobilizing them to stitch protective kits, small efforts slowly became collective support. What started as concern became responsibility.

With the belief of “if not now, then when,” people began joining hands. What was once an individual effort turned into a shared mission.

On 15 October 2020, this effort took formal shape as Crime Control & Social Development Organisation (CCSDO).

Our Approach

We focus on prevention rather than reaction.
When education improves, awareness increases and people feel supported, many social issues naturally reduce.

Our ESG Approach

As our work in communities grew, we realized that social change cannot happen only at the ground level — institutions and workplaces also shape people’s lives every day.
The values we promote in communities — safety, dignity, awareness and responsibility — must also exist inside organizations.

This understanding led CCSDO to work in the area of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) practices.

For us, ESG is not a corporate term; it is the same philosophy applied at a larger level.

  • When workplaces are safe and respectful, individuals feel confident (Social)

  • When systems are fair and transparent, trust increases (Governance)

  • When resources are used responsibly, communities remain sustainable (Environment)

Our vision has always been to reduce social problems by strengthening people and systems.
Through ESG initiatives, we support organizations in creating responsible environments so that development happens not only in communities but also in institutions.

In this way, our community work and ESG efforts connect — both aim to build a society that is aware, accountable and secure.
